Guest Bio:
Mason Miller is AmaTerra Environmental and Environmental Research Group’s Vice President of Innovation and Technology. He earned his archaeology BA from the University of Texas at Austin and his master’s in nautical archaeology from Texas A&M University (though he is an Orange-blood at heart). Mason has >23 years of experience in environmental consulting, working as a terrestrial and underwater archeologist, geophysical specialist, public outreach lead, and as a diver. Mason is an ACRA board member and chairs ACRA’s Continuing Education Committee. Mason lives in Dripping Springs, Texas with his wife, Amanda, and two sons: Davis and Elliott.

Dave Buzan is an aquatic biologist who has worked in Texas on water issues since 1978.

Aaron Petty is an aquatic ecologist that is happiest working in streams, reservoirs, and estuaries for freshwater mussel surveys, oyster reef restoration, and stream bioassessments. Aaron gained much of his professional environmental and regulatory experience through work for consulting firms in Texas, anchored by his graduate work in aquatic science. He has a B.S. in Biology from Texas Tech University, and a M.S. in Environmental Studies from the College of Charleston. As a PADI diver, Aaron has experience using both scuba and surface supplied air systems for the sampling of mussels across Texas.
